Welcome To The Caseville Museum
SAVE OUR CASEVILLE HISTORY: Have you or your family lived or vacationed in the Caseville area for many years? Then you probably have a box of old photos or post cards sitting in your basement or attic, or maybe a bundle of family letters written 50 years ago tucked in the back of an old drawer. Believe it or not, these are historical treasures! The Historical Society of Caseville works to preserve the history of the area. We need your help. If you have photos of people or places in the area, or letters that document our area's history, please share them with us. If you wish, we can make digital copies and return the originals to you. For more information, please visit the Museum or call 989.856.9090. Don't let this history be lost. Museum hours are noon to 4:30 Wednesday through Saturday.
We are excited to announce the Historical Society of Caseville has completed the Newspaper Digitization Project with the assistance of the Clarke Historical Library at Central Michigan University. We have digitized newspapers from 1874 to 1960. These newspapers include the following: Caseville Advertiser, Caseville Critic, Caseville Record and Caseville Tom Thumb News. The newspapers are hosted on the Clarke Historical Library website: Digital Michigan Newspapers Collection (cmich.edu)
