VOICES FROM THE PAST: Oral Histories of Caseville

Our “Oral Histories of Caseville” book is done and available for purchase! Under the leadership of Rich Bass, the oral histories project has been a Museum priority for many years. The book contains 15 interviews of the following individuals describing what it was like to grow up in the Caseville area: Bud McCormick, John Leipprandt, John Depner, Bert Beadle, Tony Cilc, Gerry Eimers, Wanda Gillingham Quinn, Richard McIlhargie, Betty Power Farver, Harold Hoelzle, Jim Stahl, Mike Power, Jim Devroye, Sandy Perry and Kay Hoy Cain. Their accounts are humorous, touching and filled with local history. Thanks to all who participated, and also to Duane Wurst for guiding us through the publishing maze. Cost of the book is $20. The Museum is open Wednesday through Saturday from 12:00 to 4:30.
